What this tool checks

Common DNS records for the website hostname

A records

Shows public IPv4 addresses returned for the hostname.

AAAA records

Shows public IPv6 addresses returned for the hostname.

CNAME records

Shows canonical-name aliases when the queried hostname publishes them.

MX records

Shows mail exchangers and their priorities for the queried hostname.

NS records

Shows nameservers returned by the SiteState server resolver.

TXT records

Shows public TXT values, including common verification and mail-policy records when present.

Interpret the result

This is a live DNS lookup, not a global propagation map.

DNS answers can differ between resolvers while caches expire or after a recent DNS change. SiteState shows the records returned from its current server-side resolver environment.

That makes the tool useful for checking what is published now, but it does not compare Google, Cloudflare, Quad9 and multiple geographic resolvers the way a dedicated propagation checker would.

Methodology

SiteState performs server-side DNS lookups for A, AAAA, CNAME, MX, NS and TXT records after validating that the website resolves to a public internet address. Results are point-in-time resolver answers, not global DNS propagation consensus.
